The time has come. A little more magic has been added to Partizion. Now, collections can automatically update the tabs in them while you browse. No user input required.
Ever since building Partizion, our goal has been to make managing tabs easier.
That sounds like a boring, lofty goal — but really its quite interesting (and challenging).
People do their work in the browser now, and it’s not exactly working smoothly for everyone. Tab hoarding, too many tabs, getting lost and frustrated by the mess and worst of all, losing tabs after your computer or browser crashes.
Last year, we released our tab session manager, which allowed users to achieve some sort of peace knowing they could trust our bullet-proof session saving extension (its browser/computer crash resistant, millions of sessions saved to date) and now, after lots of hard work, testing, and user feedback, we’re releasing auto-updating tab collections. The next step in tab management that makes working in the browser a breeze.
The feature is truly magical; just toggle the “auto-update” setting ON on collections that you’d like to be updated for you, and let Partizion do the rest.
That means while you’re researching for a paper you’re writing, don’t worry about losing tabs, saving tabs, or closing tabs that you don’t need right now (but might later). Quite literally just research for the paper how you see fit, and Partizion will update the tabs in your collection for you.
That means when you close down for the day, or have to switch contexts, you can just safely close your research paper Partizion collection and come back to it whenever you need. One-click and you can pickup where you left off, with all the tabs, just how you left them. It’s quite magical if we do say so ourselves!
